End of Early Years Foundation Stage Data - Children achieving a 'Good Level of Development'
At the end of 2025-26, 89% of children reaching the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage achieved a Good Level of Development at Old Basing Infant School.
Year 1 Phonics Screening Check
In the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check for the academic year 2025-26, 91% of children met the expected standard at Old Basing Infant School.
Year 2 Phonics Screening Check
In the Year 2 Phonics Screening Check, those children who did not meet the expected standard in 2024-25 in Year 1 were re-tested in 2025-26 in Year 2. 83% of these children met the expected standard at Old Basing Infant School. This meant that 98% of children at Old Basing Infant School met the expected standard in the Phonics Screening Check by the end of Key Stage 1.

At the end of 2025-26, 71% of the children in Year 2 met the expected level in Reading, Writing and Maths combined.
